Introduction
Fatima Sana Shaikh is an Indian actress who works in Bollywood movies. She was born on 11 January 1992 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. She got huge fame from Bollywood Blockbuster movie Dangal. Fatima plays the role of Geeta Phogat in the Aamir Khan film Dangal. She first appeared in a Bollywood film as a child artist in Chachi 420.
Fatima Sana Shaikh Career
Shaikh began her film career with the 1997 film Chachi 420, playing the role of ‘Bharti’ (Jaiprakash Paswan’s daughter).
In 2001, she appeared in One 2 Ka 4, which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla. In 2008, she played the role of Zoya in the Indian drama film Tahaan. Fatima worked in the comedy film Bittoo Boss (2012), the romantic film Akaash Vani (2013) and Nitesh Tiwari’s biographical sports film Dangal (2016). She has also starred in Thugs of Hindostan with Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, and Katrina Kaif. She earned the award of Best Actor-Female in 2017 for Bollywood Movie Dangal.
Fatima Sana Shaikh appeared in Netflix movie Ludo, is directed by Anurag Basu and features an ensemble cast including Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanya Malhotra, Aditya Roy Kapur, Asha Negi, Pankaj Tripathi among others. which releases on 12 November 2020. She appeared in the satirical comedy-drama movie Suraj Pe Mangal Bhariwritten & directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by him & Zee Studios released on 13 November 2020.
